Open ChatGPT Desktop Settings
Launch ChatGPT Desktop application and navigate to Settings > Apps > Advanced Settings Dev Mode > Create App.

Create new MCP App
Click 'Create App', paste the MCP URL from above, and give it a name like 'Context4GPTs'. No Authentication.

Hit Connect
From the + button select '... More' and the name of the App you created. The app will appear under the text box.

Start Using MCP Tools
Context4GPTs tools are now available in your conversations. ChatGPT will automatically use them to interact with Context4GPTs.

Add Connector
Click on the plus (+) sign under the text box and then select 'Connectors'. Click 'Manage Connectors'

Add MCP Connector
In the connectors panel click 'Add custom connector'. Give the MCP Connector a name like 'Context4GPTs' and paste the MCP url you copied. Make sure that the connector toggle is on when you start the chat by checking 'Connectors' again.
